LATENTITY OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IN THE CONDITIONS OF ARMED AGGRESSION IN THE RUSSIA

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study the issues related to the violation of
laws and customs of warfare related to the norms of international humanitarian
law. The main object of the study was gender-based violence in the conditions of
armed aggression of the Russian Federation and its latency in the process of
recording and investigating crimes related to it. The result of the study is the
determination of a range of issues that need to be resolved in order to overcome
the latency of these crimes and change the attitude of society towards victims of
gender-based violence, which will give them the opportunity to restore a normal
existence in society and will contribute to the recording and investigation of
criminal proceedings in this area.
