This article explores the sociocultural phenomenon of fashion, emphasizing
its multidimensional nature and its role in shaping individual and social identities.
The author analyzes various aspects of fashion, particularly its impact on
economic, cultural, and psychological processes. Special attention is given to the
relationship between fashion and criminogenic tendencies, especially deviant
behavior within youth subcultures. Theoretical approaches by G. Simmel, P.
Bourdieu, and J. Baudrillard are examined, presenting fashion as a means of social
differentiation and a tool for self-expression.
