REGULATORY AND LEGAL STRENGTHENING OF DIRECTIONS OF INTERACTION OF INTERNAL SECURITY UNITS OF THE NATIONAL POLICE WITH OTHER SUBJECTS OF ENSURING DISCIPLINE AND LEGALITY

Abstract

The scientific article states that the interaction of internal security units of
the National Police of Ukraine with other subjects of ensuring discipline and
legality is an important and integral part of the activities of the specified units
from the very beginning of their creation. The content of the specified interaction
is determined by the norms of legislation and follows primarily from the
functional tasks of the subjects belonging to internal security units. At the same
time, the historical development of internal security units testifies not only to
their gradual structural transformations, but also to some substantive changes in
the direction of activity, which could not but affect the interaction of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine with other
subjects of ensuring discipline and legality. It is proved that the structure of the
current "Regulations on the Department of Internal Security of the National Police
of Ukraine" does not contain structural sections of the document that would be
exclusively and directly devoted to determining the interaction of the specified
subject with other persons, structures and institutions. The need to identify the
directions of the specified interaction through the prism of regulatory and legal
consolidation is emphasized.
