In the article probably for the first time ever in domestic criminology, authors describe
their views on the peculiarities of regional crime through the prism of spiritually-valued,
ideological and cultural component and modern social reality. Based on the analysis of the
features of the security environment of Ivano-Frankivsk region, the authors' scientific
provisions and conclusions on this problem are formulated, as well as corresponding cut of
the social environment of the region is conducted.
