CRIMINOLOGICAL PROGRAMMING IN THE FIELD OF COMBATING CORRUPTION CRIME IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the characteristics of the state of criminological 
programming in the field of combating corruption crime in Ukraine. It was found 
that the main program criminological document in the field of combating 
corruption crime is currently the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023–2025. 
It has both a number of advantages and disadvantages. The program aims to 
increase transparency, reduce the influence of oligarchs on politics and improve 
the ethics of officials, focusing on combating political corruption and improving 
financial control, in particular by optimizing the verification of declarations and 
increasing the efficiency of anti-corruption bodies, but some of its points require 
detailing for effective implementation. Its main advantages are a systematic 
approach to combating corruption, increasing accountability and creating 
institutional mechanisms to prevent abuse. The prospects for the implementation 
of the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025 are a comprehensive 
counteraction to corruption, digitalization of processes to reduce abuse and the 
implementation of sectoral reforms in areas such as the judiciary, defense, 
education, until the goals are achieved.
