THE ESSENCE OF SAFETY ON PUBLIC ROAD TRANSPORT AS AN OBJECT OF STATE SUPERVISION (CONTROL)

Abstract

The article emphasizes that the essence of safety on public road transport as an object of supervision (control) can be revealed by referring to the features of ensuring safety on public road transport, the latest socio-economic, urbanization realities and approaches to understanding transport; modernization of public transport, development of the street network taking into account the provision of its priorities, adaptation of urban space to the movement of vulnerable road users, taking into account the best experience of foreign countries and individual cities, focusing on positive changes in the environment through the use of environmentally friendly (and/or renewable) energy resources, the formation of a safety culture, as well as leadership in the field of safety, taking into account national security as an all-encompassing category, focusing on conducting educational events on road safety, using the latest tools for processing a large amount of available data with the help of intelligent systems.
