LEGAL PRINCIPLES OF COMBATING CORRUPTION IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE AND THE PLACE AMONG THEM OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL NORMS

Abstract
The article states that administrative and legal norms play an important
role in combating corruption in the public service in Ukraine. These norms
establish rules of conduct, procedures and responsibilities of public officials in the
field of combating corruption offenses. It is emphasized that the legal status of
public servants is determined precisely in the administrative field of law. This
covers aspects such as the status of officials, regulation of dismissal procedures,
pensions, social security and other matters related to their professional activities.
A number of normative legal acts are given and analyzed, with the help of
which legal regulatory influence is exercised within the framework of countering
corruption manifestations in the public service. At the same time, the opinions,
theses, statements and scientific views of scientists in the field of law on the issues
of this article are highlighted. The author's judgments regarding the possible
directions of improvement of the administrative and legal regulation of the
researched sphere of social relations have been formed and provided.
