FUNCTIONS OF ENSURING INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN THE SPHERE OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS

Abstract
It was noted that the functions of ensuring international cooperation in the
field of physical culture and sports are objectively related to two key concepts
regarding the interpretation of this category: legal and managerial. Thus, ensuring
international cooperation is a legally justified and regulated activity of legally
authorized subjects, and therefore, its functions can be described as legal.
It was found that the functions of ensuring international cooperation in the
field of physical culture and sports are permissible and regulated by the norms of
current legislation, the activities of authorized subjects, whose work is aimed at
the fulfillment of the tasks of such cooperation, as well as the organization and
creation of conditions for its effective implementation.
The following key functions of ensuring international cooperation in the
field of physical culture and sports are highlighted: integration function;
evolutionary function; transformation function; educational function;
organizational function; evaluation function. It is argued that the functions given
in the article are the most relevant at the moment, because they correspond to the
current state of international cooperation and its regulatory and legal structure.
