THE ESSENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS

Abstract

The article emphasizes that international cooperation in the field of physical
culture and sports is a joint, complex and multi-vector activity of several states,
sports federations, athletes, specialists in the field of physical culture and sports,
institutions of physical culture and sports, institutions of higher education, public
organizations associations, public authorities responsible for various aspects of
such activities in different countries of the world and in a global context, in the
course of planning, organizing and conducting international sports competitions and events, programs and projects, implementing the provisions of international
agreements in the field of physical culture and sports with with the aim of
improving the international image of the state and compliance with international
standards, approval of moral and ethical values, social standards and inclusive
practices in the field of physical culture and sports approved by the world sports
community.
It is noted that in view of the proposed broad vision of international
cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports, its specific features that
appear in modern conditions are singled out: its basis in modern conditions is the
management of sports projects; the close relationship of international
cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports with institutions of higher
education, which in modern conditions form a vector of relevant scientific
research, unite the international sports community in the course of various sports
and scientific events; inclusiveness and barrier-free international cooperation in
the field of physical culture and sports; at the level of international cooperation,
uniform and generally accepted standards of sport are established, which is
accessible to everyone without excluding categories of the population; close
connection with sports tourism, creation of appropriate recreational, sports, and
transport infrastructure at the state level to maximize the tourist attractiveness of
the state, which is the basis for the successful holding of any successful
international sports event; the decisive impact of information and communication
technologies on international cooperation in the field of physical culture and
sports.
