TYPES OF PERMITTED AND PROHIBITED OBJECTS, PRODUCTS AND SUBSTANCES FOR USE BY CONVICTED PENALTIES IN PENALTY INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article notes that today in the practical and scientific environment the opinion prevails that security in penitentiary institutions consists of three components: dynamic, physical and procedural. The authors come to the conclusion that, despite the three- component nature of this type of activity, special attention is paid to dynamic security, however, it is necessary to pay attention to other components, namely the seizure of prohibited items from convicts, as a guarantee of normal activities to prevent penitentiary relapse, as well as to reduce level of post-penitentiary crime.

The types of permitted and prohibited items, products and substances for use by convicts in penitentiary institutions are considered. The author's classification of objects, products and substances, the storage and use of which is prohibited by convicts in penitentiary institutions, is presented.
