CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES OF AN ECONOMIC ORIENTATION: CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT TRENDS AND REVENUE FORMATION MODELS

Abstract
The article analyses certain provisions regarding the essence and individual
characteristics of economic crime. It is noted that despite the constant scientific
research in this area, scientists have not reached an agreement on an
unambiguous understanding of the essence of economic crime, since its expanded
interpretation is observed by including all crimes of a mercenary nature in its
structure. The trend of integration processes between organized criminal groups
of economic and general criminal nature is analyzed in detail. In the context of the
analysis of these integration processes, new qualities that criminal groups of
different types acquire are outlined. The processes of development of the
infrastructure of organized crime and its impact on social processes are
separately investigated. The main functions of modeling are highlighted in the
context of understanding the features of income generation from criminal activity.
The definition of the model of income generation from organized criminal activity
of an economic nature is formulated. Attention is drawn to the practical
component and functional purpose of building typical models of income
generation from criminal activity.
Based on the analysis of practice materials, separate models of income
generation from the results of criminal economic activity are identified by the
subject criterion. An autonomous model of such activity is described in detail,
attention is paid to the prerequisites for its formation, further development, as well as the features of the subject of implementation. In addition, typical group
models of income generation from the results of criminal economic activity are
analyzed, and the features and trends of their development are identified.
