Abstract

The article is devoted to the main characteristics of the person of a victim
of a criminal offense provided by Art. 304 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine
"Involvement of minors in illegal activities".
It has been established that minors who have become victims of
involvement in illegal activities are characterized by an unsatisfactory level of
upbringing, lack of parental control, a low level of legal awareness, accentuations
of character, mental deviations that do not exclude sanity, a negative impact of
the immediate environment, the presence of previous illegal experience,
secondary victimization, dependence on alcohol or narcotic drugs or
psychotropic substances.
Several moral and psychological qualities of victims of involvement in
illegal activities have been identified, which to the greatest extent determine the nature of relationships with the person of a criminal offender.
Attention is focused on the fact that the problem of violence against minors,
as well as their involvement in criminal practices, is especially aggravated in the
context of armed conflict, and their residence in the frontline and occupied
territories contributes to the intensification of criminal activity against them.
