Abstract
The thesis is devoted to the study of the concept of economic security of the
State as a key element of national security and an object of administrative and
legal support in Ukraine. The author has analyzed the main theoretical and legal
approaches to the definition of economic security, as well as its structure, which
includes financial, energy, food, investment, foreign economic and other
components. Particular attention has been paid to the factors affecting the level of
economic security, including external threats, internal risks, corruption,
ineffective public administration and economic instability.
It has been considered the role of state bodies in the formation and
implementation of economic security policy, as well as administrative and legal
mechanisms used to ensure it. The author has analyzed the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of economic security and its compliance with modern
challenges and international standards. It has been identified the key problems
that impede the effective functioning of administrative and legal support for
economic security, including imperfect legal regulation, insufficient coordination
between government agencies, and lack of effective control over economic
processes.
As a result of the study, the author has proposed directions for improving
the administrative and legal support for the economic security of the State, in
particular by improving the legislative framework, strengthening interagency
coordination, and introducing modern mechanisms for economic monitoring and
control. It has been emphasized that it is necessary to introduce effective anti-
corruption measures, increase the level of transparency of economic activity and
involve digitalization tools in the public administration.
