SYSTEM OF ENTITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION OF INTERACTION OF THE SECURITY SERVICE OF UKRAINE WITH OTHER ENTITIES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES

Abstract

It is noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine organizes, ensures and
directs the activities of law enforcement agencies subordinate to it, including in
matters of interaction with the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), and also
approves comprehensive by-laws on issues of interaction of law enforcement
agencies of all directions and levels in certain areas of social and legal relations.
It is proven that the President of Ukraine and the National Security and
Defense Council of Ukraine, which: manage and coordinate the interaction of the
Security Service of Ukraine and other state, in particular, law enforcement
agencies, as components of the security and defense sector of Ukraine; develop
and approve strategic documents in the field of state security, the tasks of which
provide for joint actions of representatives of the law enforcement sector.
It is emphasized that the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine coordinates the joint
activities of law enforcement agencies in the field of combating crime;
It is established that the Head of the SSU and the Central Directorate of the
SSU - carry out direct management of the system of bodies and units of the
Security Service of Ukraine, prepare and issue organizational and administrative
and other internal acts on the activities of the latter, regulate the interaction of the
SSU with other law enforcement agencies in all areas and forms. The Anti-
Terrorism Center of the SSU - coordinates the joint work of the bodies and units of
the SSU with other law enforcement agencies that are subjects of the fight against
terrorism.
