Abstract
An analysis of the state of scientific development of theoretical knowledge about measures to ensure criminal proceedings as a basis for research into the use of measures to ensure criminal proceedings during pre-trial investigation of corruption criminal offenses was carried out. An overview of modern approaches to the definition of the concept of measures of criminal proceedings, its correlation with the concept of criminal procedural coercion, the type classification of measures of criminal proceedings and their functional purpose, existing in the domestic doctrine of criminal proceedings, was given. A dialectical connection with general theoretical provisions on measures to ensure criminal proceedings and further study of the use of measures to ensure criminal proceedings during pre-trial investigation of corruption criminal offenders is determined.
