Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the problems of constructing certain punitive criminal law sanctions as a structural element of prohibitive criminal law provisions which determine the threat of imposing a certain type and amount of punishment for a criminal offense provided for in their dispositions. As a result of the analysis of the shortcomings of the regulatory and legal certainty of some of these sanctions, the author suggests the ways to improve them.
