The article argues that the issue of moral and ethical principles is extremely
complex, covering both philosophical (worldview) issues related to
understanding the depth of certain moral dilemmas, the formation of an
understanding of the fundamental values (qualities, personal traits) of a lawyer,
and administrative and legal aspects, through which the worldview is transferred
to the plane of regulatory and legal acts, the activities of bar associations are
regulated, their interaction with public authorities is normalized in the process of unconditional adherence to the moral and ethical principles of legal activity.
It is noted that despite the consolidation at the international and national
levels of a certain system of principles that determine the moral and ethical
principles of legal activity, the latter are characterized by extraordinary
variability, covering a number of moral and ethical dilemmas that arise in view of
the technological development of humanity, and in Ukraine are also associated
with the complex security conditions of martial law.
It has been proven that the basis for solving moral and ethical problems of
legal practice can be the determination of key qualities that are necessary in
professional activity. It has been found that it is also important for lawyers to
comply with moral and ethical requirements regarding the implementation of
certain most typical processes.
