PRINCIPLES OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF ELECTRIC POWER OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article emphasizes that international cooperation in today's globalized
world becomes the basis of harmonious, balanced, sustainable development of
states and international communities.
It was determined that the essence of international cooperation in the field
of electric energy of Ukraine is reduced to purposeful, constructive, stable, carried out within the framework of international agreements of Ukraine, including
bilateral agreements on export-import of electric energy, joint activity of several
states on the electric energy market, which is carried out with the aim of
regulating of social relations for the production, storage, aggregation,
transmission, distribution, purchase, sale, transmission, use, measurement and
saving of electricity.
It has been established that it is impossible to fully understand the essence
of international cooperation in the field of electric power of Ukraine without
referring to the fundamental foundations of such activity, which are the
principles, namely the general legal principles of the rule of law and legality, as
well as special legal principles, in particular the principle of energy security; the
principle of transition to renewable energy; the principle of regional cooperation,
which should be considered, including through the prism of the development of
education and scientific research in the researched field of social relations
(regional cooperation in the field of education and science, covering the issue of
electric power, allows directing targeted funds to support progressive scientific
research in this field, finance scientific grants, establish individual scholarships
for researchers).
